That’s about all I have to say, we are all spent from a very busy weekend.
We visited with 6 different families, consisting of 16 adults, and 13 kids (not including our own), and 1 very new, 2 day old baby! We walked through one of my all time favorite shopping malls, swam at the hotel with the kids, showed Kelsea the neighborhood and house we brought her home too, made a trip to Target (yep-I can sniff out a Target in just about any city we visit, and we ALWAYS have a reason to go there), watched the fountains and let the kids dance at CityPlace, drove by Palm Beach Atlantic (both of our alma-maters, and J’s workplace b-4 O-town), and reflected on our wonderful memories about as much as you could in a jammed packed weekend.
It was suprising to me how a place we left over 3 years ago, still feels a little like home.
I guess when you leave a city behind with friends, who are just like extended family, and the house you brought your first baby home to; that city will always hold a special part of you.
It was a little emotional for me to be honest.
Anyway, it was a whirlwind. Both kids were unraveling by the time we left at 3:15 this afternoon. It was a good finale to the very busy summer that we’ve had. I’m too tired to upload pictures tonight, but I will add some tomorrow.
