Weekend Update

Here’s a recap of our ‘wedding’ weekend…

Aunt Tabatha looked beautiful.  (Kelsea said ‘like a princess!’)  Uncle Chris did not pass out, although his best man told me he was swaying pretty good at one point.  Gigi’s house was transformed into a beautiful location for a wedding, although the lake on either side, and her beautiful gardens and pool area with a waterfall, kind of already had set the stage!!!  NONE of the kids through tantrums, and they ALL made it down the isle (8 kids were in the wedding total).  The flower girls ended up coming down together in one big mosh-pit, and they stopped at the front of the isle and stood there trying to empty out the extra petals that we’re still in their baskets.  Brady did phenomenal!!!  He followed behind the flower girls, got to the front & was looking around confused for a few seconds until he saw me, and then he ran over to me calling ‘mommy’ and trying to get me to pick him up.  Uncle Mike came to the rescue in the front row, and said ‘Brady-look, chocolate candy, I have chocolate candy for you.’   And of course, he forgot about me and bee-lined for Uncle Mike with a huge smile on his face!  WHEW~I was so relieved!!!  Jason danced the father-daughter dance with Tabatha; to the song Unforgettable, and they dedicated it to their dad.  (it was one of my favorite moments of the night)

Brady was rolling on the floor (some new dance move of his I guess), and Kelsea was breaking it down right until the DJ left at 9:30.  Jason brought them home, and I stayed until after 11 cleaning up.  Jason is ready to have me back home to help with the kids, my time at home was very sparse this weekend since I was trying to help out with all the final details.  We all took nice long naps after church yesterday, and are ready to start our week.  Well Jason and Kelsea and I are, Brady is still asleep.  It’s almost 9am, I guess he needed a little more recovery time…

Here’s some pictures I managed to capture in between the busyiness.

I need to start adjusting the settings on my camera better…sorry some of them are kind of dark.  And~I don’t know who if anyone got pictures of the kids coming down the isle, if I get any, I’ll post them, it really was so sweet.

Congrats Chris & Tab, we are so thrilled to have been part of your Wedding!  We love you!

  1. WOW! I am so impressed they all made it down the isle- how special! I can’t wait to see more pictures. Tell Kelsea I think she looked like a princess.
